Achievement

We are very proud of our improving Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5 results. We work very well as a team to try to ensure that as many pupils reach their potential as possible.

Our Millennium Centre Sixth Form is run collaboratively with Littleover Community School. Teaching is shared between the staff on both sites with Year 12 Year 13.

Interactive whiteboards are also used to access games and puzzles available on the internet.

A day trip to Boulogne is organised each year for Year 7 students. Longer trips to France (four or five days) are also organised by the area for older students.

Bi-annually the Curriculum Area stages a ‘Café evening’ when students perform dances, songs, play etc in French, German, Panjabi and Urdu.

 Urdu

Urdu at Derby Moor can be studied from Year 7 all the way through to A-Level.
