The Millennium Sixth Form Centre
Millennium Centre Open Evenings
The Millennium Centre is a Post-16 Centre run jointly by Derby Moor and Littleover Community Schools. A centre small enough for every student to be an individual who is known and who matters.
What we expect from our students
- Take responsibility for their own learning and social development.
- Be serious and committed students who work hard and meet the demands, which often involve working on personal time, both at school and home.
- Use the library and study areas when not timetabled for lessons.
- Treat work as a priority but also want to be involved in other activities both in school and the community.
- Follow the Millennium Centre dress code.
- For up to date information on courses, please contact the centre. Information is shown at the bottom of this page.
What you can expect from us
- Commitments to providing the highest possible standards of teaching, delivered by well qualified and dedicated teaching staff.
- A purposeful and thriving daily working environment.
- Individual care, support and guidance provided by senior staff and a committed team of personal tutors and subject staff.
- An extensive enrichment programme including a programme of activities and events designed to prepare you for the challenge of your course, student life and ultimately the world of employment.
- Continuity and stability in a familiar environment with staff and friends who you know will help you in your progression from GCSE to AS/A Level studies.
