For students who have received a letter 4; we would like you to complete an online learning course which is based on your chosen college course or indeed is centred upon an area of work that is of interest to you. We would also like you to complete a series of tasks set using Hegarty maths. Throughout this period, personalised career advice and guidance will be available for students should they wish to access further support.

We are offering personalised career support for those of you who are still undecided.

Financial Literacy

Financial literacy refers to an individual’s ability to learn and apply a range of skills that will support their future life goals. These may include, calculating basic costs, managing their finances and working confidently with loans and interest.

To develop financial literacy, the following HegartyMaths tasks have been set to support:

Additional Optional Work

Below is a link to a list of MOOCs and online courses that are relevant for your Post 16 studies and beyond. There is something for everyone. Please choose AT LEAST ONE course to undertake in the next 4-6 weeks – most only require a few hours per week, so are extremely accessible and will further your wider world experience in preparation for higher education/apprenticeships/work placements. The vast majority of these are free – please do not feel that you have to pay for any.
